Zachary,

Today we had a great day together....just the two of us. Your dad was kind enough to let me pick you up for a couple of hours and we headed down to KNYB fields to do some volunteer clean up. Much to our surprise, the wind must have blown everyone away early and we got out of it!! We headed down to Big 5 and then to Sports Authority because, you guessed it, it's baseball season. You stepped it up and got a really nice game bat and a separate practice bat! I knew you were really excited because you said "I love you mommy" about 50 times during the day.

Anyway, you are a blast to hang out with and it was soooo much fun to do without your little brother so I could just focus on you!!

Baby boy,

I must say that I love you soooo much! I love your brother so much as well. Life 7 months ago way quite different for our family. We were very happy, but not yet complete. You entered our lives and all of us; daddy, me, and Zachie feel overwhelmed with love by your presence. Your brother wakes up every morning, stumbles straight to the living room and says, "Where's brother?"

Today we are all sick with some kind of stomach bug....even you and you are still mostly smiles as we all mope around. Luke, you have taught me to take a moment, sit back, and just love my boys.....
